Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actor. Her birth date was August 4 of 1981. She's best known for her roles in the movie Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful, This Is Where I Leave You. Amantha is the main character in Rectify the Sundance Channel Drama Series. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. She gained fame for her roles in the drama show Rectify. She is a native of Gulf Breeze, Florida and was first introduced to acting on the soap-opera All My Children. Her outstanding performance that she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award. She mainly appeared in character roles as a guest throughout the span of several years. The show she appeared on received praise for her part she took on in the role of Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Her beautiful appearance and extraordinary acting talents helped her to build a loyal fan base. Her film debut came when she was around the age of twenty performing in the movie Campfire Stones. The actress has also been featured in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks and various other movies. To honor her performance in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. Most recently, Spencer played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer is receiving positive feedback from critics about her performance in the sci-fi television program Timeless. She was also nominated for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
